Who are Cub Scouts?
CUB SCOUTS: 8 - 10.5 years old both boys and girls. Cub Scouts meet once a week for an hour and half during term time. Cub Scouts meet as a Pack, divided into smaller groups called Sixes. Each led by a Sixer. They are led by a CSL (Cub Scout Leader) and ACSL (Assistant Cub Scout Leader/s). The leaders still use names drawn from Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book.

As a Cub Scout you will get a chance to explore a range of new activities compared to being a beaver scout. If you do well with them you will be rewarded with a badge for your achievements, which you can wear on your uniform with pride.

What Cub Scouts do?

Cub Scouts enjoy playing organised games, going on outings and trips. They get to opportunity to go camping whilst learning about outdoors. This will mean that you could be sleeping in a tent and doing loads of outdoor activities and prepare to become Scouts.
